Having read this article on Yahoo I only have one question: WHY?

Why spend all that money collecting over 1800 Playstation 2 games if you aren't gong to play them?! I've seen The Angry Video Game Nerd's collection on YouTube and it's impressive, but at least they've all been played. Sure, I'd like to build up a big collection of games for my latest consoles, but only for the purpose of being able to play them all and have a taste of all different styles of gameplay. Sometimes I'll even buy a game that's not something I would normally play, on the recommendation of a friend or family member.But I always play every game I own.
Perhaps I'll never have an incredibly valuable collection of never been played, still in their wrappers, classic games, but at least I'll be able to say I've enjoyed playing them.
